EAST POINT, Ga. -- A teacher at Tri-Cities High School in East Point suffered a medical emergency at school Friday morning.
The teacher was rushed to a nearby hospital at around 9:30 a.m. His name was not released.
He appeared to have a heart attack after witnessing a fight between two male students.
Fulton County Schools spokeswoman Susan Hale said the teacher never got involved in or tried to break up the fight, and no students touched him.
The teacher was alert and responsive when he was taken away in an ambulance, according to Hale.
