ATLANTA -- Temps in the teens and colder wind chills caused problems across metro Atlanta Friday morning.

In Henry County, Austin Elementary School closed because water pipes burst. The flooding was mostly in one common area of the school.

In Marietta, a problem with the heat system at the Department of Drivers Services office on County Services Road forced that office to close. Officials say they tried using space heaters, but it was not warming the building. They hope to fix the problem so they can re-open for operations Saturday.

The high Friday is expected to only be around freezing with lows in the teens again overnight. We'll see a little warm up for the weekend before another cold blast next week.
