ATLANTA -- A sprinkler went off inside a maintenance closet at Booker T. Washington High School in northwest Atlanta Monday morning.

Atlanta fire officials said the sprinkler went off shortly after midnight. It caused a large water leak inside the building.

Crews have since shut off the sprinkler. An Atlanta fire spokesperson said the leak will not affect students returning to classes Monday morning.

There was no immediate word on what triggered the sprinkler.
