DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Dunwoody police are looking for a man they say is impersonating a police officer.

Investigators say he first came in to the StayBridge hotel in Dunwoody in December and was eating the free continental breakfast. When the manager asked him to leave, he became irate and threw hot liquid in the manager's face.

Since then, police say the suspect has come back to the hotel flashing a badge.

"Between December and last Friday, he's actually gone in once or twice a week to get the free continental breakfast," said Officer Tim Fecht of the Dunwoody Police Department. "It seems like a lot of work just to get some free food. We are not sure of what his mindset is. First he assaulted somebody, and now he's impersonating an officer, which is a felony."

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call Dunwoody police.
