SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- A woman who fled from police during a traffic stop and hid in a Sandy Springs office park is now in custody.

The suspect, 29-year-old Shauney Busby, was pulled over in Brookhaven Monday morning for aggressive driving, according to Brookhaven Police Lt. Brandon Gurley.

When the police tried to approach her, Busby drove off, crossing into Sandy Springs.

Gurley said the suspect abandoned her car outside the office park at 780 Johnson Ferry Road, where the road becomes Glendridge Drive, and ran into one of the buildings. Security guards at the office park searched for an hour before finding Busby and bringing her to the police.

Busby may have been involved in a hit-and-run in Dunwoody earlier Monday, according to Gurley. She now faces charges in Sandy Springs and Brookhaven as well, and will be booked in the DeKalb County Jail.
