ROSWELL, Ga. -- A woman was shot in the arm outside a Roswell gas station overnight.

The victim, whose name was not released, was shot at around 11:45 p.m. Monday at the Chevron at the corner of Holcomb Bridge and Dogwood roads near Georgia 400.

Roswell Police spokeswoman Lisa Holland said the victim was with her husband when she was shot. The husband drove her back to their Holcomb Ferry Road home and called the police.

An ambulance took the victim from her house to a nearby hospital. Holland said the woman is expected to recover.

Police did not immediately have a motive for the shooting. Two men were seen running from the gas station shortly after the woman was shot, but no one has been arrested, according to Holland.
