SNELLVILLE, Ga. -- Fire officials are trying to find out what caused a fire at Adopt-a-Greyhound Atlanta in Snellville on Wednesday.

The owner says he came out of one building and noticed smoke coming from another building in the back where the greyhounds are kept. He managed to get all eight dogs out safely, but the building was severely damaged.

The facility was expecting another 10 dogs on Thursday, but the owner has since cancelled the delivery. He said the greyhounds that are there now are still available for adoption
