HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. -- An overnight fire in Clarksville has destroyed four businesses while several other business were damaged.

The fire began just after 11 p.m. at Sweet Bread's Restaurant,an old warehouse built in the 1930's which eventually turned into a restaurant.
Along with Sweet Bread's, Parker Place Antiques, Soque River Watershed Association and Edward Jones Investments Office were all destroyed.
The fire spread quickly, according to officials, and jumped to neighboring businesses.
"The square's 100 years old," said Clarksville Mayor Terry Greene. "The buildings have hard pine, and they're very flammable. It could have been much worse. It could have been the whole square."
There are no injuries being reported.
Habersham County along with Banks and White County, Tullulah Falls, Demorest, Baldwin and Cornelia fire crews all responded to the scene.
