ATLANTA -- Frederick Douglass High School in northwest Atlanta was briefly evacuated Monday morning due to a gas leak.

The leak was first reported at around 9 a.m.

Atlanta Public Schools spokeswoman Kimberly Willis Green said students were moved from the school's main building to the auditorium and gymnasium while crews looked for the source of the leak.

APS Facilities workers repaired the leak, allowing students to return to class, Willis said.

There were no reports of any injuries.
