(ATLANTA BUSINESS CHRONICLE) -- Rachel Elizabeth, the Chick-fil-A employee who handled with cool and class a rude tongue lashing from former Vante CFO Adam Smith, accepted Smith's tearful apology.
"I do forgive him," Elizabeth told FOX News. "I think he realizes how bad it was to make that tape. I feel sorry for him and his family, and for everything that has happened to him since."
Tuscon, Ariz.-based Vante Inc. fired Smith as CFO after he posted on YouTube a video of himself going through a Chick-fil-A drive-thru and goading Elizabeth.
He apologized Monday saying, "I'm sorry for treating you poorly ... I'm sorry for treating you so inhumanely, because I compromised my personal integrity ..."
