(WXIA) -- Paris Garrett may be a whiz in the kitchen, but there's one thing she rarely makes at home: quesadillas.
"I usually purchase quesadillas out because they usually taste better," she says.
So Paris wants to try the Nostalgia Electrics Quesadilla Maker, which promises to make delicious quesadillas in minutes. She checks out the product.
"The directions seem fairly simple," she says.
She builds a quesadilla from scratch, filling an 8-inch tortilla with cheese and salsa.
"And now we're just waiting for it to cook," she says.
After two minutes, the quesadilla smells done, but when Paris opens the product's lid -- there's salsa everywhere.
"I guess I put a little bit too much!" she says.
However, she finds the device easy to clean. She wipes up the salsa and then builds a second quesadilla. While it cooks, she samples her first one.
"I like it," she says.
Paris makes her second quesadilla with chicken, so it comes out with a lot less salsa -- which also makes it a lot less tasty.
"I think it would've tasted a little bit better had I pre-seasoned the chicken," she says.
But in just minutes, the product helps Paris make enough quesadillas for everyone in the house. She says each one tastes better than the last.
"As we tried several different quesadillas, we found that different elements make it even better," she says.
So the Nostalgia Electrics Quesadilla Maker is a winner in her book -- something she'll actually use at home. Paris gives it two thumbs up.
