Whole Foods Market has agreed to pay an $800,000 settlement in California for overcharging customers.

Investigators accused the chain of widespread pricing violations, mostly on food items like the deli and salad bar that are sold by weight.

The company is not admitting any wrongdoing.

Whole Foods put out a statement saying its pricing was accurate 98 percent of the time but also saying it would try to minimize errors going forward.
