CONYERS, Ga. -- The Conyers Police Department arrested eight adults and one juvenile on Tuesday on charges of pimping, prostitution and pandering.

The arrest, officer Kim Lucas said, was at the Motel 6 of Dogwood Drive. An officer was checking the hotel for a suspicious vehicle, when around 7:30 that morning, he arrested three females. One was charged with pimping, the other two with prostitution.

Special Operations authorities took over the females' room at the Motel 6, and arrested clients as they arrived to the location. Authorities made six arrests within a five-hour time frame, and charged those individuals with pandering, Lucas said.

One of the suspects, 42-year-old Terence Eatman was also charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

The other suspects involved include Temesgen Beyene, 22, of Snellville, John Owens, 65, of Conyers, Jennifer Kendrick, 29, of Covington, Christian Boyd, 18, of Monroe, Roger Rankin-Watson, 45, of Stone Mountain, Oloade Olagoke, 19, of Conyers, William Doney, 38, of Covington, and a 16-year-old girl.
