NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A 24-year-old woman is accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend on an MTA bus on Tuesday night, police said.
Leaddia Eubanks apparently got on a bus at Music City Central after she saw Clint Lanford, 22, and Nyamal Kuol, 19, aboard around 10:20 p.m., according to a Metro Nashville Police Department release.
The release said Eubanks then tried to start a fight with the pair and pulled a knife on them as the bus pulled away from the terminal.
Police said Lanford tried to take the knife away from Eubanks and ended up getting cuts to his shoulder and wrist. Kuol also received wounds to her arm.
Because of the incident, police said, the bus driver abruptly stopped the vehicle near Fourth Avenue and Deaderick Street. Eubanks was later taken into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, police said.
Both victims were taken to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital and later released.
Eubanks was booked into Metro Jail on $30,000 bond.
