A new app called Coffee Up tracks your caffeine intake and warns when it will affect your bedtime.


How many cups of coffee do you drink every morning? Do you know where the line sits between awake and jittery? There's a new app called "up Coffee" that will help you track your caffeine intake, and how it will effect your eventual bedtime.

It's a free download in iTunes. You enter in your height, weight, and bedtime. Through the day, you enter your caffeinated drinks: coffee, tea, sodas. It will track how the caffeine will affect you. After two cups of coffee, when I enter a latte, it sends me a warning, saying the drink could make me jittery. It changes my status to edgy. On the next drink: it pushes back my bedtime by 47 minutes.

Jawbone Labs rolled out the app during National Sleep Awareness Week.
