ATLANTA -- It may be sweltering outside, but there are free places to cool off around metro Atlanta.

BothGarden Hillsand Chastain Park pools are free to the public Monday through Friday mornings. Chastain's free hours are 10 a.m. to noon, Garden Hills' are 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Centennial Olympic Park fountain is also a popular free place for children to splash around.

At night when it cools off, head to one of the many free outdoor Movies Under the Stars programs. On Thursday, July 5th, "Captain America" is playing at Atlantic Station.
