WHITE, Ga. -- Residents that live near the Mouldings Unlimited manufacting plant heard a series of explosions just before 1:00AM.

"It rocked the house. It just about busted the windows out," Robert McCoy said. His house is just a few hundred yards from the business off highway 411. "It felt like an earthquake. I went outside and I saw the glow."

Those explosions and the glow of fire came from a plant that manufactures wood mouldings, trim, and siding.

The fire was first reported at 12:30 a.m. Friday. Cartersville firefighters responded first and then called Bartow County fire crews for assistance at around 1:30 a.m. Furefighters say, despite their quick response, all that wood created a massive fire that reached through the roof.

No injuries have been reported, but fire crews have blocked all lanes of Highway 411 as they work to contain the blaze.

Fire officials told 11Alive's Julie Wolfe that it may take hours or even days to put out the fire.
