FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- At least one person suffered smoke inhalation in a fire that ripped through a south Fulton County apartment building overnight.

The fire broke out at around 5 a.m. at the Old Town Villa Apartments at 2200 Godby Road.

Dispatchers said the fire started inside the wall of one apartment and was heaviest at the center of the building. Ten units were evacuated, but crews said they managed to help everyone inside the building escape the blaze.

The person who complained of smoke inhalation refused treatment at the scene. No one else was hurt.

Fire officials said the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
