ATLANTA -- A metro Atlanta singer impressed the judges on NBC's "The Voice" Tuesday.
Brittnee Camelle took part in the show's blind auditions and another local – Usher – was the first to turn his chair. Shakira also did at the last second.
In the end, Brittnee chose Usher to be her mentor through the competition. She surmised that since they're both from Atlanta, they should work well together.
"To even sing in front of them in front of them was amazing," Camelle said at a watch party held at Circa. "I was nervous but it was so cool. To meet Usher and to get to work with him, I am so excited…I feel blessed."
