HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. -- Georgia State Patrol Troopers are currently on the scene of an accident involving a school bus in Haralson County.

A Haralson County school bus was traveling east on Highway 120 towards Buchanan when a black Dodge pickup truck, driven by a 17-year-old female, crossed the centerline and struck the school bus head-on.

The driver of the truck received serious injuries and has been airlifted to Grady Hospital.

20 students were taken to Higgins General Hospital in Bremen, 15 of those students were taken by ambulance. Another 4 were taken to Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Six students have been released.

All the students are in good to fair condition. The ages of the students ranged from 5 to 16.

The bus driver was also taken to a local hospital, according to Georgia State Patrol.
