ATLANTA -- A railing from a rail bridge fell onto Interstate 285 Wednesday morning.
The railing landed in the southbound lanes of I-285 beneath Martin Luther King Jr. Drive during morning rush hour.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said it received no reports of injuries or damage. Officials closed the two left lanes of I-285 south at the scene so they could investigate.
GDOT spokeswoman Natalie Dale said crews expect to completely reopen the road by 12:30 p.m.
