Multiple buildings in Conyers were evacuated due to a gas line break on Thursday.
The leak happened on Peek Street and and North Main Street and is under control. Two churches, a government administration building, a law office and a few homes were evacuated.
There were no reported injuries.
The city's water department broke the line, according to authorities.
Gas service was cut off to the area and people were allowed to return to the buildings as crews worked to repair the line.
