CUMMING, Ga. -- Forsyth County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who robbed a bank Wednesday.

It happened at 11:19 a.m. at the Chase Bank located at 1710 Buford Highway.

According to Sheriff Duane K. Piper, the Chase Bank was robbed by a white male driving a black four-door 2012 or 2013 Hyundai Genesis. The robbery took place in the drive-thru lane. The man gave the teller a note saying an attached item was a bomb. He got away with money.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Bomb Disposal Unit arrived and detonated the device, which turned out to be a non-explosive item.
