Lilburn Police are investigating Angela Rabotte case as a homicide.
LILBURN, Ga. -- The body of a missing Gwinnett County woman was found in a wooded area of Lilburn Thursday morning.
A city spokesperson said the remains were found near Lilburn Industrial Way around 10 a.m.
A body found in Lilburn Thursday morning has been identified as that of 26-year-old Angela Rabotte. Police have identified a person of interest in her death.
Officials said tattoos confirmed that the body was that of 26-year-old Angela Rabotte,who was last seenlate last week.
Nearly three dozen friends and family of Rabotte went out to the scene after learning that a body had been discovered. Those closest to Rabotte cried not only for her, but her 3-year-old daughter, Shay.

Police from Lilburn and Gwinnett County are working to investigate the death.
Gwinnett County police have confirmed that they have arrested a man who was with Rabotte on the night she went missing. Charles Outlaw was picked up not for this case, but for previous outstanding warrants. Officials said they are looking at him as a person of interest. He has not been charged with anything in connection with Rabotte.
"He has been in custody for several days but he's not charged with this crime," said Gwinnett County Police Corporal Jake Smith. "He certainly will be investigated further now that we have a crime scene, but at this point he has not been charged in a homicide."
Darrell Campbell, the father of Rabotte's daughter made a plea for information. "Anybody who knows anything, I'm talking about anything that would help with this investigation, call Detectives," he said.
