DORAVILLE, GA -- Pizza Patron celebrated their 26th anniversary by giving away free pizza. But it's what customers had to say to get this pizza that has some upset.

"Pizza por favor" -- those three words gave customers a special ticket into Pizza Patron.Customers showed up well in advance, all in a line for a free pepperoni pizza.

The only catch... patrons had to order in Spanish.

"All they have to do is step in and say pizza por favor," said manager Armondo Del Vogue.

The promotion kept business coming at the Doraville location, onTuesday. As more customers got their pizza, even more got in line.

"Last time we saw anywhere between 300 and 500 people," Del Vogue added.

It's a number they expect to surpass this year.

But the promotion has sparked some controversy, with some upset that you would have to order anything in Spanish.

But for many of the customers lined up, it didn't seem like that big of a deal.

"It's ridiculous," said Chrissy Reddick. "You say three words to get a free pizza so it doesn't make any sense to get upset about it."

"We just want to have fun and celebrate the Hispanic and Latin aspect of it," said Del Vogue. "And have our customers celebrate with us."
