Leanna Harris visited The Cobb County Jail Tuesday.
MARIETTA, Ga -- Leanna Harris attempted to visit her husband at the Cobb County Jail on Tuesday. Ross Harris was denied bond in a July 3rd hearing on charges of cruelty to children and murder. His son, 22-month-old Cooper Harris, died after he was left in a hot car for more than seven hours.

Leanna Harris arrived at the Cobb County Jail at 8:00 on Tuesday morning. She was accompanied by one other woman. Jail rules only permit two visitors per inmate for each visitation session. The video conferences are scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
Leanna Harris was inside the visitation center for 36 minutes. That is consistent with the amount of time it might take to register, be fingerprinted and photographed as per jail policy, and then meet with her husband for the maximum time of 30 minutes. While walking back to her car, she kept her head down and did not answer reporter questions. The woman with her also declined comment. While the car started driving away, Leanna placed her head in her hands, seemingly upset.
Leanna Harris has not been charged with any crimes, and authorities would not say if an arrest warrant had been obtained. During the probable cause hearing, Cobb County investigator Phil Stoddard said that Leanna didn't rush to her child – or even ask to see him. Leanna only wanted to know about her husband, Stoddard testified.
At the police station, she asked Ross if he said too much. And earlier in the day, after finding that her son had never been dropped off at the daycare, she immediately told workers that her husband must have left Cooper in the vehicle.
Stoddard also testified that after Ross Harris described Cooper's body as looking "peaceful," he told Leanna "I dreaded how he would look."
Investigators returned to Ross Harris' job location on Tuesday to recreate the conditions of the day that Cooper died. Specifically, they were testing to see how hot it got inside of the vehicle, and how long it may have taken Cooper to pass away.
