ATLANTA -- Eating organic foods can cost you a lot of money, but organic experts say you don't have to go completely organic eat healthier.

The nonprofit Environmental Working group has a list of the so called "dirty dozen" -- the foods that are most likely to contain pesticide residue.

Here are what it deems the worst offenders in order: Apples, Bell Peppers, Blueberries, Celery, Cucumbers, Grapes, Lettuce, Nectarines, Peaches, Potatoes, Spinach and Strawberries.
The list grew to 14 in 2012 when the EWG added kale and green beans to the list.

The Environmental working group also has a list of the clean 15: Produce it says are lowest in pesticides that you might want to save money by buying conventional. They are Asparagus, Avocados,Cabbage, Cantaloupe, Corn, Eggplant, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Mangoes, Mushrooms, Onions, Pineapple, Sweet Peas, Sweet Potatoes and Watermelon.
