ATLANTA -- One conversation is all it takes. Spend just five minutes with Adrian Romoff, and you'll know immediately that he's not your typical 9-year-old.

But wait until you hear him play.

Many have called him a piano prodigy. By the time he was eight years old, Adrian had played Carnegie Hall and performed on the Ellen show. Tuesday night, he made his debut on America's Got Talent, where he instantly wowed the judges.

But 11Alive met Adrian before he became a big star. Two years ago, 11Alive's Matt Pearl visited his home in Peachtree City. Adrian told Pearl he wants to be a strong scientist and musician, like his role model, Albert Einstein.

Tuesday night, Adrian received four "yes" votes from the judges, ensuring he will move on to the next round of the show. Be sure to look out for Adrian on future episodes!
