STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- The Help Desk is dedicated to informing our military heroes about career opportunities and guidance.

Comcast has contributed their efforts into providing career placement for military veterans. Comcast's goal is to hire 1,000 military veterans by next year. To fulfill that goal, Comcast kicked off an in-house career fair for veterans Wednesday in Stone Mountain,

At the event, Comcast provided information to veterans about career opportunities, resume development and helped direct applicants to positions that are currently available.

The Vice President of Human Resources for Comcast in Atlanta, Angela Albert expressed Comcast's efforts in hiring veterans.

"Comcast has a rich tradition of employing and promoting veterans in its workforce", said Albert. "In fact, many of our company's top leaders are veterans, a population that clearly aligns well with our culture of strong leadership and teamwork."
