Jackpot now one of the largest in Mega Millions history
ATLANTA (WXIA) -- No ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, sending the jackpot soaring to $353 million for a single annuity winner for Friday night's drawing.
That figure marks the fifth highest jackpot in the history of the Mega Millions game, and the 12th largest jackpot prize in North American history.
The winning numbers from Tuesday night are: 9, 14, 56, 57, 69 and the Mega Ball was 10.
The Mega Millions jackpot began growing Jan. 7 and has rolled 19 times. Tickets are $1 each.
In December, Stone Mountain resident Ira Curry was one of two people to split a $648 million Mega Millions prize.
The multi-state Mega Millions game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands.
