ATLANTA -- Less than an hour after Jack Kingston conceded the Republican Senate primary to David Perdue, Michelle Nunn's campaign was pushing to November. "I couldn't be prouder of everything that Michelle and our grassroots team have already accomplished, but with the head-to-head matchup finally here, it's about to kick into overdrive," campaign manager Jeff DiSantis wrote.

By Wednesday morning, baseball legend Hank Aaron was pushing for a 'money bomb'.

"In baseball, every hit matters. The big ones, the little ones -- they all add up to a chance for your team to win," said an email signed by Aaron.

Aaron compares the fundraising push to his RBI record: "The 755 home runs I hit in my time mean a lot to me, but there's another record that I'm proud to hold, the all-time record for Runs Batted In (RBIs). You see, games aren't won or lost on the efforts of one person, they rest on the shoulders of team. And every RBI is a result of teammates working together to achieve one common goal -- victory."

The fundraising pitch ends with Aaron urging supporters to send in $7.55 within 24 hours.

Nunn's fundraising hit overdrive long before Tuesday's runoff election. According to July campaign finance reports, Nunn raised $3.5 million over the last three months. It was almost a million more than David Perdue.
