ATLANTA -- The Georgia DOT says crews will repaint the road striping and look for a possible place for an overhead sign to let drivers know a right turn only lane on Williams Street means just that.
Scott Rosener contacted 11Alive after his family had several close calls at the intersection of Williams and 10th street.
There are two right turn lanes at the intersection. The problem is that drivers often use the right turn only lane to travel straight through the intersection. Rosener, his wife, and son have nearly collided with drivers doing just that while they attempted a legal right turn from the center lane.
The DOT is looking at changes that will make it clear the far right lane is for right turns only.
