MILTON -- A dangerously confusing intersection in Milton is getting a new look that will have drivers going around in circles.
Michele Gergins contacted Commuter Dude about the intersection of Birmingham Highway, Providence Road, and New Providence Road.
"Every time I'm halfway through it, there's a car speeding down Birmingham Highway," said Gergins. "It's a risk all the time."
The city of Milton considered a traffic light, but concluded a roundabout would be a better solution.
"They tend to have less side impact crashes, which means less fatality crashes," said city spokesperson Jason Wright. "It also slows cars down."
Work on the roundabout is scheduled to be complete early next year.
