ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Atlanta Braves will finally return home for the first game of the season at Turner Field and they will be doing so by celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Hank Aaron's 715th career home run.
Large crowds are expected, and Braves officials are encouraging fans to arrive early. Parking lots open at 2:00 p.m. and gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Parking at all official Turner Field parking lots will be permit only for Tuesday's game.
No permit? Consider taking MARTA. The Braves shuttle begins 90 minutes before the first pitch from the Underground Atlanta/ Five Points MARTA station to Turner Field until one hour after the final out.

The ticket window will open at 9:30 a.m. for fans to purchase any remaining reserved seats, buy standing room only tickets ($20), or pick up pre-purchased tickets. Fans are encouraged to be seated by 6:15 p.m. for the special pregame ceremonies honoring the 40th anniversary of Hank Aaron hitting #715.
Braves adding free phone charging stations
The first 45,000 fans will receive a commemorative poster of Hank Aaron. Kristian Bush of Sugarland will be performing in the Fan Plaza. She'll also perform the National Anthem. Just before the game begins, the Braves will honor Hank Aaron's 715 home run.
The Braves will also unveil their 2013 National League East Championship banner
