ATLANTA -- Mayor Kasim Reed wants to know when the Atlanta Braves will be leaving Turner Field.
The mayor says he sent a letter to the team asking if the Braves will renew their Turner Field lease in 2016.
The team's spokeswoman says the club has responded offering to meet with the mayor over the issue, but that the mayor's office has not yet responded back.
The Braves have said the team plans to be in the new Cobb County stadium by the 2017 season.
The Braves have until January 2016 to tell the city if they plan to extend their lease.
