ATLANTA -- It officially opens this weekend but Wednesday, fans got a sneak peak inside the new College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta.
Opening Saturday, the new College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience will provide visitors with a highly immersive, interactive and engaging experience using a blend of historic college football artifacts and state-of-the-art, interactive multimedia exhibits.
The hall is downtown, adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park.
The hall was originally scheduled to open last year, as a 50,000 square foot, $50 million building. After adjusting plans the hall is now more than now 94,000 square feet and cost $68 million.
Tickets are on sale and cost $19.99 for an adult, $16.99 for children and $17.99 for seniors, students and military. Kids under 3 are free.
The hall is open 10 a.m.- 5p.m. Sunday - Friday and 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday.
