Former UGA quarterback Aaron Murray was joined by a few of his favorite receivers trying to impress scouts on pro day. Scouts from 27 NFL teams were on hand in Athens Wednesday to watch Murray and teammates workout.
Athens, Ga -- Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray led the group of mostly UGA stars working out for NFL scouts during pro day on campus Wednesday morning. Murray was joined by about a dozen of his most recent teammates. Murray was 47-54 with 3 drops 2 out of bounds and his receiver slipped once. The former Bulldog is expected to be drafted in the middle to late rounds.
The NFL draft kicks off from New York Thursday May 8. 11 Alive was on hand when Murray met the media. We also spoke to one his favorite targets, tight end Arthur Lynch who is also in this year's draft.
