ATLANTA -- Ticket prices for University of Georgia are going up next year.
It's the first price hike since 2008. Season ticket ticketholders currently pay $40 a game, while single game tickets cost $45. There's no word on how much the increase will be.
Georgia athletic directors are huddled at Lake Oconee this week for budget meetings. They got the heads up from Athletic Director Greg McGarity, who expects to recommend a modest increase.
It's no surprise to fans, who have been expecting it after numerous renovations to Foley Field and planned improvements to Sanford Stadium.
