The University of Georgia announced on Tuesday that football coach Mark Richt has dismissed safety Tray Matthews.
Matthews was one of four players arrested for theft by deception in March in a scheme to double-up on athletic department-issued checks.

In the statement, Richt said, "We are trying to make room for guys who want to do things right."
Matthews tweeted, "I'm sorry UGA family. I swear to God I love yal. I'm crying right now but I won't forget. Love the dawgs. Auburn or Louisville will be my home"
