ATHENS, Ga. -- The Georgia Bulldogs are stretching their recruiting reach. Just days removed from nabbing a quarterback form Washington and a defensive back from south Florida, the Bulldogs have struck again, this time in New Orleans.
Four-star wide receiver Michael Chigbu has committed to Georgia over Texas A&M. He announced his decision on Twitter.
Chigbu had narrowed his list down to those two schools after his recent visit to Georgia. He had 16 other offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Auburn, Clemson and UCLA.
The 6-foot-2, 214 pound rising senior is commitment No. 16 for Georgia and the Bulldogs' second wide receiver in the Class of 2015.
Georgia's class is now evenly split between in-state and out-of-state players with eight each.
