A few showers will move through later tonight as a cold front approaches NW Georgia. The showers are much weaker than the storms that hit the midwest last night. We will have a few scattered showers with a slight chance for some thunder and lightning. We don't expect any severe storms with this.
The bigger story is going to be the colder air moving in. The wind will kick up and temperatures will begin to fall overnight. We start Friday morning with temperatures in the 40s. We will only move up to 58 Friday afternoon. A light shower is still possible early on Friday as the back edge of the system moves out.

It will remain breezy Saturday with a high of only 53. We are down to the freezing mark again Sunday morning. We will begin to warm a little more Sunday afternoon with highs getting back to the low 60s.
We warm a little more Monday with a few showers moving through. We stay warm for the rest of the week with a better chance for rain for the middle and end of the week.
