The Spring freeze is official. Atlanta made it down to 31 degrees this morning, and many of the surrounding areas were in the high 20's. Keep in mind, our average low temperature is 47! Our freeze warning expires at 10AM and temperatures will rebound into the mid 40's by Noon, then top out at 59 late this afternoon. That is still about 10 degrees below normal.
Some rain moves through Monday morning, but it is relatively quick, and we will be warmer, in the high 40's. By the afternoon we should see clearing skies, with temperatures in the high 60s. Temperatures warm into the low to mid 70's for the remainder of the week, but rain chances increase late Tuesday-Friday, with a couple of thunderstorms possible.
