Moderate showers Saturday morning. The bulk of the heavy rain will be south of I-20 in places like Peachtree City, Lagrange, McDonough, and Eatonton where the showers may linger a few hours longer. High temperatures will be in the low 50s.
Skies begin to clear by Saturday night with overnight low temperatures in the low 40s.
We will have mostly cloudy skies Sunday, otherwise dry with high temperatures in the mid 50s.
Monday the rain returns when some moisture pushes up from the south. Rain chances go to up to 40% Monday with highs in the low 50s.
We still are monitoring another rain system for late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. While small, there is a chance for a few strong, possibly severe, thunderstorms mixed in. We will keep monitoring this closely.
There is still a chance that early Christmas Eve morning that a few flurries could mix in mainly in the north Georgia mountains Wednesday morning. We will just have a few lingering rain drops here, with the moisture moving out early. It will be chilly on Wednesday with a high of only 48°.
Christmas Day will be mostly sunny but cold. Morning temps start off near freezing with a high up to 52°.
