As we start off the work week, we are dealing with an unsettled weather pattern. A few showers are possible Monday morning, with a little fog. Low temperatures will be in the mid 40s and we should top out in the high 50s Monday afternoon, when we could see a few showers again. The rain chance is higher for Tuesday at 60%. We are also still monitoring the potential for thunderstorms Wednesday. Right now, it doesn't look like a widespread severe weather risk. High temps Wednesday get to the mid to upper 60s.
We are also keeping an eye on the small chance for a winter mix on Thursday. Cold air rushes in Thursday as the moisture moves out. Right now, it looks like a brief overlap with that cold air and moisture. Parts of north Georgia could see a brief winter mix early. Temperatures will actually be falling in the afternoon as that moisture moves out. I've been watching one model indicate this chance for the past few days. The timing of cold air and moisture isn't locked in yet. We will dry out at the end of the week and heading into the weekend!
