Steady rain will move in tonight associated with a Cold Front which is moving out of Tennessee. The rain will begin ahead of the front, in our NW counties, then spread south toward the metro through the overnight.
The rain will continues Saturday morning as the cold front pushes farther south. Models are showing a closed area of low pressure over us that will keep the chance for showers in the forecast for much of day Saturday. If that holds, we will see off and on showers through the day. The rain should wind down by Saturday evening. Highs will be cooler Saturday (73 degrees).
Skies will gradually clear Sunday, Highs will be in the low 70s. More sunshine for Monday (Columbus Day) with highs in the mid 70s. Enjoy your weekend.
