Lanes reopen after I-20 motorcycle accident in DeKalb

Lanes reopened on I-20, Sunday, after a late evening motorcycle accident.

Officials confirmed that the accident happened on westbound I-20 near Panola Road. The Georgia Department of Transportation originally urged motorists to seek an alternate route and reported that all westbound lanes were blocked as of 10:03 p.m. 

The accident wasn't expected clear until 11 p.m.; however, as of about 10:45 p.m., the lanes had reopened.

Officers on the scene confirmed that two motorcycles were involved. Three people were taken to an area hospital. Their conditions are not yet available.
