Meet My Dad

This is my dad, Paul Ossmann. His name kind of rhymes with awesome, which is pretty awesome because... well, because he's a pretty awesome dad. He takes good care of me, and I love being part of the family.

I’ve had a really busy holiday, which is why you haven’t heard from me lately. My whole house smells like food, and yet I only get the same stuff in my bowl over and over. Something’s unfair about that. But I’m trying to be a good dog, so I haven’t snuck food off the table. I’m [...]

I had a nice visit at 11Alive yesterday. I got to meet all sorts of new people, and hung out with my friend Josh, who helped make my website and my blog. That’s him over on the right. It took a while to get him trained to sit and smile on command, but we pulled [...]

I was all set to go on the 6:00 news with Dad, but when Judge Bodiford said all that stuff just before, I knew it wasn’t going to happen. That’s okay; I still had a good time. I’m really looking forward to being on the air on Thursday. My friend Dennis will be at the station [...]

Meet My Trainer

This is my friend Dennis Vander Linde. Dennis is helping me learn how to be a good dog when I'm out with Paul, meeting people. He's also teaching Paul how to take good care of me. Dennis told me he's going to come on 11Alive on Thursdays to talk to all my friends about how they can be good dogs too.

Here's something I found on caninerelations.com, which is Dennis's website:

"At Canine Relations, we believe that the key to success of owning a happy and well-mannered dog is developing a balanced relationship between each handler in the household and the dog. A balanced handler-dog relationship is based on mutual love and respect, and effective leadership from the handler."

I'm really glad that Paul introduced me to Dennis, and I hope that if you have a friend who needs to learn how to be a good dog, you think about introducing him to Dennis too. If you have any questions, you can use this form to send them through e-mail.
