University of Georgia cancels classes for Monday, September 11

ATHENS, GA - Due to Hurricane Irma's pending arrival, the University of Georgia says they are closing on Monday, September 11. 

All classes, campus events and activities will be canceled. The university says a decision on operations for Tuesday will be made by noon on Tuesday.

Residence halls and dining halls will remain open and campus transit plans normal operations unless weather conditions make it unsafe to do so.
