4-year-old injured after Decatur house fire

The father and a second child was also present but no other injuries were reported.

DECATUR, Ga. - Firefighters battled flames overnight at a Decatur residence that left one child injured.

At 12:08 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a home located on the 2100 block of Glendale Drive.

The family was located safely outside of the residence upon arrival but one child, 4, was suffering from second degree burns.

He was transported to the hospital accompanied by his mother who was not injured.

The father and a second child were also present but both were unharmed.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
