Paola Suro is a Bilingual Multi-Skilled Journalist for 11Alive, WXIA in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born in Puerto Rico and has since moved ten times, growing up around South America. Paola has lived in Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Panamá, before moving to the United States where she lived in New York and Ohio.
Paola joined the 11Alive team on October 2020 and tells stories in both Spanish and English, which is something she is very passionate about. She graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse and upon graduation worked for WKBW in Buffalo, and then WCPO in Cincinnati.
Paola is excited to call Atlanta her new home! She has received AP Awards for her work in Cincinnati and can’t wait to tell more important stories in the peach state. When she is not telling stories, you can find Paola reading a mystery book, seeing musical theatre shows, singing karaoke and trying new restaurants (send any recommendations her way)!
