Faith Jessie is a 3x EMMY® Award-winning News Anchor and Reporter at 11Alive. She joined the team in December 2022. Faith co-anchors 11Alive News weeknights at 5 p.m. alongside Jennifer Bellamy.

After graduating from the University of Southern California, Faith began her storytelling journey in New York as a Weekend Anchor for WICZ-TV. Faith turned her attention to politics and followed the presidential hopefuls on the 2016 campaign trail. She also followed New York delegates to the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia where she covered Hillary Clinton’s historic presidential nomination.

Faith headed to Las Vegas on her next assignment as a reporter and fill-in anchor at KSNV-TV. Here, she continued covering the 2016 presidential race including the final debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. While in Las Vegas, Faith covered numerous stories that received national attention including the 2016 and 2020 presidential debates, the devastating 2017 Route 91 mass shooting, the historic COVID-19 shutdown of the Las Vegas Strip and protests along the Las Vegas Strip following George Floyd’s death. Her involvement with days of non-stop coverage of the Route 91 tragedy and responsible reporting earned her an Edward R. Murrow Award with her station. Following the shooting, Faith traveled to Berlin, Germany to conduct a special report comparing gun reform in Germany to the U.S. The report received international attention.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Faith moved to New York for an Anchor assignment at Newsday. Faith got right to work with Newsday TV, anchoring their 2020 RNC, DNC, and Election night programming. Her work continued when a second wave of COVID-19 hit the area. Faith spent several days with healthcare workers and COVID positive patients in the hospital for a special report that gave viewers an inside look at the reality of the deadly virus. Faith also worked with Newsday’s investigative team to uncover racial hiring discrepancies in the area’s police departments. Both of these pieces were recognized with EMMY awards.

Outside of the newsroom, Faith loves getting into the mountains to explore and spending time with her rescue pup named Bella. She is a founding member of the University of Southern California’s Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
