11-year-old Dai Time's goal is to read her book to 1,000 students this year

Dai Time has achieved a lot at a young age but now she's on a new mission.

She’s being called the 11-year-old Oprah and she lives right here in Atlanta.

Dai Time has achieved a lot at a young age but now she’s on a new mission— to read a book that she wrote to 1,000 elementary children before the end of the year.

She’s an author, a motivational speaker and the editor of her own magazine, Dai Time. She also wrote a children's book called 'My Tutu."

"In my book I started to educate children about the days of the week, my favorite colors and extracurricular activities and I decided to do it in a fun way which is to use tutus. It teaches the days of the week, colors, extracurricular activities," she said.

Now, on her reading your, she wants to be an encouragement.

"My 'Reading is Lit' tour is a tour that I do every school year and I go to elementary schools all over Atlanta and the United States just reading about my book and encouraging children to read and to teach them that it’s important to practice your craft," she said.

As for her daytime magazine, she said she wants to inspire kids.

"There are so many inspirational children all over the city and state. We have kids from all over the world in this magazine and I think it’s really important to capture it all in one place," she said.

And her overall goal "to inspire."
